Vivo NEX Goes on Sale in India on Amazon and Vivo Online Store with Rs.4,000 Discount Offer
Earlier this week, Vivo launched its latest flagship smartphone in India, the NEX. The smartphone was made available for pre-order on the same day of its launch via Amazon.in as well as the Vivo India online store. While the smartphone is not available for purchase yet on Amazon.in, it is now on sale on the Vivo online store as well as via offline retail partners across India.

If you haven’t pre-ordered the Vivo NEX on Amazon.in or the Vivo online store and wish to get your hands on one as soon as possible, you now have the option of purchasing the NEX from Amazon, Vivo online store. You can also purchase the Vivo NEX from a major offline phone retailer near you. However, the Vivo online store is currently shipping the NEX only to select locations, so you can order the phone on Amazon.in if Vivo online store doesn’t deliver to your pincode currently.
Vivo NEX: Price in India, Launch Offers
On Vivo online store, you can get a cashback of Rs.4,000 on purchasing the NEX using HDFC Bank credit cards. The cashback offer is applicable on EMI transactions as well. If you do not have an HDFC Bank credit card, you can get No Cost EMI option up to 12 months on all leading credit cards. You will also get a one-time free screen replacement and an assured buy back value. Jio subscribers can get a cashback of Rs.1,950 on purchasing the Vivo NEX.
The Vivo NEX is priced at Rs.44,990 in India and comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for color options, the NEX is available only in Black color.
Vivo NEX: Specifications, Features
While the Vivo NEX is priced higher than some of its rivals like the OnePlus 6 and the ASUS ZenFone 5Z, it does have a few unique features that set it apart. The main highlight of the Vivo NEX is its Ultra FullView display. The Super AMOLED display measures 6.59-inches diagonally with 1080 x 2316 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the combination of screen sound casting technology, hidden sensors, and a pop-up selfie camera, Vivo has been able to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 91.24%. Another key highlight of the NEX is the third-generation in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Vivo NEX runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8 GHz with an Adreno 630 GPU. In the memory department, as we mentioned already, the NEX packs 8GB of RAM and includes 128GB of internal storage. Memory expansion, however, is not supported.
On the back of the handset is a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera setup with the primary Sony IMX363 sensor integrating 4-axis optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture lens. The secondary 5MP sensor has been coupled with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the Vivo NEX has an 8MP pop-up selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, USB Type-C port, and Dual 4G VoLTE. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh capacity battery with 22.5W fast charging support. The Vivo NEX also comes with a dedicated Jovi AI assistant and has an AI button on the left side with access to AI services such as Google Lens, Google Assistant, and an AI Engine. It also comes with CS43199 + SSM6322 amplifier for impressive audio quality. In terms of size, the Vivo NEX measures 162 x 77 x 7.98mm and weighs in at 199 grams. The smartphone runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.0 out of the box
